This is a paper that I wrote for AMH6939 The Nuclear Age under
Dr.
John O'Sullivan. It deals chiefly with the development of Orion,
a spacecraft designed to use the detonation of atomic bombs as a means
of propulsion. Helios and Daedalus, two other projects
