A Brief History of the Development of Nuclear Pulse Propulsion for Space Vehicles
 by Reuben David Ferguson

This is a paper that I wrote for AMH6939 The Nuclear Age under Dr. John O'Sullivan.  It deals chiefly with the development of Orion, a spacecraft designed to use the detonation of atomic bombs as a means of propulsion.  Helios and Daedalus, two other projects in the same vein, are also discussed briefly.  For information, e-mail reuben@arkrat.net or rdfergus@fau.edu
