This model was constructed using a kit from Revell rather than the usual Tamiya kits.  It is in 1/32 scale as opposed to the usual Tamiya scale of 1/35, and is much less detailed than the other models.  Revell's instructions were much less precise as well.  At the time, Tamiya didn't produce a Sherman kit.
